I've been really fortunate to find some amazing tools, courses, and consultations with people who've made a huge impact on my career. So I thought I'd share some of them here.

I want to be really clear that I do NOT promote anything that hasn't worked for me. I've taken many more courses and used many more tools than what's listed here. These are the ones that I can wholeheartedly recommend.

  • Vellum

    I've saved SO MUCH money in formatting expenses because I bought Vellum early in my career. It is a one-time fee and worth every penny. It's very user-friendly, and there's even Facebook groups if you want support from other users. I update my backmatter pretty regularly and Vellum makes it easy to do. I consider this an essential tool in my author toolbox.

  • Morgana Best's Business for Authors Course Bundle (Shopify Buildout, Facebook Ads, and Klaviyo email and SMS marketing)

    I've taken a few courses when it comes to Facebook ads (for retailers) and setting up a Shopify courses. I've found Morgana's to be the most helpful and robust. She walks you through everything and is so knowledgable when it comes to selling direct. I highly recommend her three course bundle.
